Who are we.....

Straight to the Summit are Helen and Mate. We are based in a small village in North Wales, this is the perfect location for us to get out into nature throughout Wales, England and Scotland.

Hi guys, I'm going to tell you a little bit more about myself. I have always lived in North Wales, this is where my heart lies. I've always had a passion for being out in nature and keeping myself active. Snowdonia was always my place of choice to go hiking with the odd wild camp thrown in.

Along with hiking I have also completed Tough Mudder, Born Survivor and Mud Runner challenges. These were all enjoyable but I wanted a bigger challenge. I decided to take part in the national Three Peaks Challenge. Ben Nevis was by far my favourite part of the three peaks, this reignited my passion for hiking.

I wanted to spend more time hiking and exploring. But.....there was one problem. Don't get me wrong I love to hike alone in the peace and tranquility but I wanted to be able to share the hikes and experiences with someone.....

Hey everyone, a couple of things to know about me. Yes, my name is Mate, funny right? I have lived in the UK for over 12 years now and I always had a passion for outdoors since I was young. In Hungary me and my friends loved bush crafting and spent numerous nights in forests and just loved being away from the busy towns.

I have always wanted to travel more and see the natural beauty of England, Scotland and Wales but it is not the same on your own. Then I met Helen and realised we share the same passion and we could both enjoy what we love together.
